“I had four different companies come out to look at the space where I wanted to have an outdoor kitchen installed. Peter from Smoky Stone got it exactly right the first time. ”

INTEGRATING FIREPLACE WITH KITCHEN DESIGN

“Pete and the team created a CAD drawing that was perfect. And we rotated the view to see it from every angle. Once I selected Smoky Stone, Jon and his team promised a date and beat it by two full days. Regarding the quality of the work, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Overall, Smoky Stone is incredible. You will be proud of your new kitchen.”

The initial outdoor kitchen project presented challenges due to space constraints and a comprehensive list of required appliances. Designed in a U-shaped layout to accommodate seating for four, it featured Fire Magic flush mount inserts, a 30-inch Aurora grill, gas components, a sink, fridge, and icemaker. The kitchen showcased quartzite base with a matching backsplash extending to the ceiling, complemented by a striking black granite leather top.
Recently, the client expressed interest in extending this style to include an outdoor fireplace. The proposed design incorporates a Modern Flames Landscape Pro unit, rated for outdoor use, crafted from the same stone as the kitchen for consistency. The mantle will mirror the black leather granite countertops, ensuring continuity in design aesthetics throughout the outdoor space.
Key considerations include seamlessly integrating the fireplace into the existing outdoor kitchen design, adhering to safety standards, and meeting the client’s preference for materials and visual harmony. This approach aims to deliver a cohesive and visually appealing outdoor living area that meets functional requirements while satisfying the client’s aesthetic expectations.
